Held the first Friday of the month, Gallery Nights showcase the various works from European and Latin American art masters to outstanding contemporary artists. Be on the lookout for the orange paintbrush on the side of the Trolley and on special Trolley stop signs to find a dedicated Gallery Night Trolley that will loop between Coral Gables galleries and art venues participating on Gallery Night.

More than a dozen restaurants and bars on the renowned Restaurant Row on Giralda Avenue, located between Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Galiano Street, will bring culinary excellence and libations outdoors for diners to enjoy, literally, under the stars. Restaurant Row will be closed to vehicular traffic, and participating restaurants will fill the street with tables and chairs, live music and entertainment from 7 p.m. to midnight every first Friday of the month through April 2016.

Join the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana in the heart of “City Beautiful” Coral Gables to enjoy a weekend-long cultural experience celebrating art in every form during the 18th Annual Carnaval on the Mile.   Stroll along Miracle Mile and take in the Fine Arts Village to be inspired by an eclectic assembly of local artists and their unique jewelry, paintings, sculptures, photography and more, including a world-class juried art fair recognized by the artists it features and the collectors it draws. Dance to the rhythm of more than 30 world-renowned musical acts, which will pack three stages, keeping the rhythm of Jazz, Funk, Samba and more pulsing through the crowd all weekend long. The entire family can enjoy two days of interactive games, craft making, product demonstrations and more.

Our annual concert features the 45 musicians of Orchestra Miami, conducted by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi. Our special guest soloist this year is cellist Ian Maksin, performing Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations, followed by Beethoven’s glorious Symphony N. 3 in E Flat Major, Op. 55, also known as the “Eroica” Symphony.

MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Operated by Miami Dade College, the festival features 129 films from 40 countries – the largest selection to date. That number includes 100 features and documentaries and 29 short films. A record 46 films are directed or codirected by women. Screening venues include the historic Olympia Theater, MDC’s Tower Theater, Regal Cinemas South Beach, O Cinema Miami Beach, Coral Gables Art Cinema, Cinépolis in Coconut Grove, and Miami Beach Cinematheque.
