This July, the Plaza will be transformed into a vibrant and colorful art experience with the installation hundreds of umbrellas gently swaying over the pedestrian promenade located at the 100 block of Giralda Avenue. To celebrate the art installation, there will be steel drum performances and live music by Jackie Mendez during the opening day event. Umbrella Sky in Coral Gables is made possible through a partnership between the City of Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Community Foundation and the Business Improvement District of Coral Gables.

Avante Theater, Adrienne Arsht Center and Miami Dade County Auditorium present the 33rd Miami International Hispanic Theater Festival. The Festival will consist of 9 shows from six countries: Argentina, Spain, United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Uruguay. The works will be performed in Spanish and some with supertitles in English.

Overtown Music and Arts Festival is back for another year.
