English composers such as Gerald Finzi, Sir Edward William Elgar, and Benjamin Britten have written some of the most moving works for strings in the classical repertoire. Revel in their beauty as The Frost Symphony Orchestra and guest piano soloist Zoe Zeniodi perform Finzi’s Eclogue for Piano and String Orchestra and Romance for String Orchestra; Elgar’s Serenade for Strings; and Britten’s Simple Symphony.

The Village of Pinecrest invites you to celebrate our magnificent planet on Sunday, April 22th from noon till
4:00 p.m. when we open our gates FREE to the public for a day of activities for the entire family organized by
the Gardens, the CLEO Institute and sponsored by Cutler Bay Solar Solutions. Several Plant Societies and other
plant vendors, workshops, food demos, planting activities, performances for children by Fantasy Theater,
green vendors, wild life shows, local school performances, crafts for kids, lady bug releases, and so much
more. And if that isn’t enough, visit our spectacular Farmers Market that will be open throughout the day.
We have off-premise parking at Christ the King Church, Palmetto Senior High and Pinecrest Elementary, with
free shuttle service to and from the Gardens.
