The fee-free days provide a great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite, especially one of the national parks that normally charge an entrance fee. The others are free all the time. The entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours.

Residents can recycle old electronics, dispose of household hazardous waste in an environmentally friendly manner, and shred any sensitive documents safely and securely onsite. The process is quick and easy. Attendees pull into the parking lot in their vehicles and staff will unload the items. Everyone should be prepared to show proof of Coral Gables residency. Due to COVID-19 and to ensure the health and safety of all there are strict guidelines in place. All attendees must stay in their vehicle at all times, no walk-ins permitted, no early or late drop-offs allowed (before 9 a.m. or after 12 p.m.).
